Brow Lift

A brow lift, sometimes called a forehead lift, raises sagging eyebrows to a more youthful position and softens horizontal forehead lines. Dr. Scott Sackman performs both surgical and non-surgical brow lifts at Enhancements Facial Plastic Surgery in Bethlehem Township, PA.

As we age, the brow line descends, which can make the upper eyelids look heavier than they really are and create a tired, angry, or sad expression even when we feel none of those things. Lifting the brow back to its natural youthful position often opens the eyes and corrects what looks like an upper eyelid problem without removing any eyelid skin.

Surgical brow lift is performed through small incisions hidden in the hairline. Endoscopic techniques use smaller incisions and tiny cameras for a minimally invasive approach. The procedure is performed in our accredited in-office surgical suite and is often combined with eyelid surgery or a facelift for a more balanced rejuvenation.

For patients with milder brow descent, a non-surgical chemical brow lift using strategically placed Botox injections can subtly raise the outer brow without surgery. Results last 3 to 4 months and are a great option for patients who want to test the effect before committing to surgery.
