Botox^®

Botox® is often called "The Magic Juice." It is used for softening/eliminating the lines of facial animation - those lines which appear when we express ourselves. These are known as Dynamic Facial Lines.

Although this is not the only reason Botox® was invented, when properly injected, it works miraculously well to reduce the lines and wrinkles which form when we move our face through its normal expressions -

• Transverse forehead lines, as when we're surprised
• Vertical depressions between the eyebrows, as when we squint
• "Crow's feet" around the eyes, as when we smile
• Vertical lines around the mouth, as when we pucker

- all respond very well to Botox®.

It is injected through tiny needles, and, after icing, the treatments are really quite painless. Results appear in 3 to 5 days following treatment. The effects of Botox® injections last 3 to 4 months, at which time most patients request re-treatment.
